I love me some Bob Goff. I have read most if not all of his books. I have seen him speak multiple times. I have listened to a ton of his podcasts. I want to go to one of his writer’s retreats in the near future.

I am a fan.

With that said, his books are landing less and less with me. It probably isn’t fair that I have heard so many of his stories that his new books feel like regurgitation.

Distraction is everywhere. It takes on many different forms. Your smartphone. Your inbox. “Your” dreams that are really your parents’. Your negative thoughts. The news. Pick whatever is distracting you from doing what you should be doing.

  2. Quit.

What do you need to quit today?

I made a list of all the commitments in my life. I examined the why, how much time, my unique abilities, and spiritual gifts. Then determined when I am able to quit some of them. Some I quit immediately and others I need to serve my committed period before quitting.

This is moving closer to the highest and best use of yours and my time. My best yes for me, my faith, my family, and my business.
